Suzy is a Research Associate with a focus on early childhood STEM learning and families’ experiences in Maker Space. In her recent work, she has examined the intersections between play and learning in museums and other informal settings. Most recently, she held a collaborative research position with Providence Children’s Museum and Brown University, where she studied how 3- to 7-year-olds learn through play, exploration, and interactions with caregivers in children’s museum exhibits. Suzy holds a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brandeis University.
