The Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth!

NYSCI hosts the annual World Maker Faire New York in partnership with Make: Media. To honor the legacy of the 1964-65 World’s Fair where NYSCI was founded, we adopted the name World Maker Faire when we hosted our first one in 2010. Maker Faire is a celebration of invention, creativity and curiosity. Attendees get immersed in maker culture with over 800 exhibits, performances, big art and spectacle, hands-on making and learning — all showcasing the creative and experimental minds who make, play, tinker and hack. The two-day event features robotics, science, cosplay, electronics, tools and much more.
