In September 2020, NYSCI kicked off our new STEM Talks webinar series by digging deep into topics around diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility in STEM. Through personal stories, fireside chats, and moments of live audience participation, we demonstrated how diversity not only drives innovation, but how equity and inclusion are baked into our mission to nurture generations of passionate learners, critical thinkers, and active citizens through an approach we call Design, Make, Play. Specific topics included public interest technology, social change, tech startups, entrepreneurship, navigating STEM careers, and equity in the field.
We encourage you to view the recordings below, and stay tuned for more STEM Talks in 2021!
This series is free, and open to everyone. Please visit https://nyscistemtalks.splashthat.com/ to learn more!
