Odd animals like blobfish, elephant shrews, giant Chinese salamanders, and other bizarre beasts slither, hop, swim and jump in projected images and videos while being portrayed in music by author and composer Michael Hearst. Hearst takes the audience on a fun, interactive investigation through the kingdom of weird animals with the help of his bandmates and a variety of quirky instruments. Limited capacity; advance registration required. Free.
Registration entitles you to free general admission to NYSCI for the day and entrance to the concert at 2 pm in the Anthony Viscusi Gallery.
Carnegie Kids is supported, in part, by a generous endowment gift from Linda and Earle Altman.
