Visit a working roof farm, discover how it reduces carbon emissions, and learn how NYSCI staff demonstrate these concepts to museum visitors.

Brooklyn Grange Co-Founder Ben Flanner will talk about the origins of the farm, give a detailed tour and explain NYC’s green roof initiative. NYSCI Staff Michaela Labriole and Kate Donnelly will then demonstrate activities they created for the museum floor to help youth understand sustainable concepts.
