HONK NYC brings the tradition of global street band music and spectacle to audiences everywhere — in parks, at clubs, in schools, and especially out in the streets. Celebrating the vibrancy and vitality live music and performance brings to city life, HONK NYC presents over a dozen free and ticketed performances across metropolitan New York each October during the flagship festival, in addition to partnering with public organizations during the summer months to bring free programming to local communities. Fun, revelry, audience participation and inclusion are the hallmarks of HONK NYC events, connecting musicians, performers and audiences from around the globe who share a passion for the grassroots traditions of brass and percussive music.
