Little Makers: Play Dough Robots

Loading Events

Design and build a funky robot using homemade play dough and recycled electronic parts. Use recycled wire bundles as arms, capacitors as eyes, keyboard keys as feet or anything else you can imagine!

Recommended for children ages 18 months and older. $8 per family, plus NYSCI admission. (Members: $5 per family.)

Sometimes creativity can get messy, so dress your little maker (and yourself) in old clothing that can be splattered with things like paint, ink and oobleck.

This program is supported in part by funding from the Liu Foundation and the Lily Auchincloss Foundation. Maker Space is made possible thanks to an investment by Cognizant through its Making the Future education initiative.
