Family Science Adventures: Summer Time Fun!

Loading Events

Discover and explore classic summer activities with a science twist. Engage in exciting hands-on outdoor activities including water play, mud painting and experimenting in NYSCI’s Science Playground. Cool off indoors and invent your own flavored ice cream, mix household ingredients to make sidewalk chalk, and more.

Parents: Engaging in sensory exploration and experiments at a young age will help your child develop important science skills, such as making observations and predictions, that are needed for higher level learning.

Sometimes creativity can get messy, so please dress your little scientist (and yourself) in old clothing that can be splattered with things like paint, ink and oobleck.

For young learners, ages 3–5 years, and their grownups.
