Eco-Explorers Grades 3–4 & Grades 1–2

Clubs are offered one day a week for a  total of 8 sessions.

Grades 3–4  (Wednesdays) March 12 – May 14 (no session on April 16)

Grades 1–2 (Thursdays ) March 13 – May 15 (no session on April 17)

Investigate the natural world and how humans impact our environment with fun, hands on experiments. Explore the benefits of composting and recycling. Create a self-sustaining mini biosphere. Investigate where your drinking water comes from and how it gets to your home. Participants will have an opportunity to explore our local ecosystem including Flushing Meadows Park (weather permitting).

After- School Science Clubs offer students a fun and enriching science experience one day a week. Club activities are designed to enhance topics or skills that students are learning in school. Each session includes homework help, snack time, exhibit exploration and theme-related science experiments.
