This workshop is part of our Design Squad Days workshop series, held every weekend throughout the fall, presented in collaboration with WGBH Boston.
Every Saturday throughout the fall, Design Squad Days are happening at NYSCI’s Maker Space, in partnership with WGBH’s Design Squad. Kids ages 8-11 can try design challenges and create prototypes of their design ideas in this series of workshops. Challenges range in topics such as inventing a new toy to designing something that can make chores more fun at home! Design Squad Days are hands-on sessions at the museum that are accompanied by a new app that lets children and their caregivers continue their projects outside of the museum, like at home or school.
This program is supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. 1811457.
