FREE Educator Workshop

Start your school year off with a FREE professional development workshop. In this workshop, you’ll learn best practices for climate change education, participate in hands-on and digital activities that can be incorporated into various content areas, and receive lesson plans that are ready to use in your classroom. You’ll have a chance to visit the Climate Museum’s innovative new climate installation located next to the iconic Unisphere, and you’ll explore how to incorporate this new climate art into your field trip planning.

This workshop is designed for educators of grades 6 – 9 and is generously sponsored by the Climate Museum. Lunch will be provided and all participants will receive a complimentary one-year Educator Membership. For more information, please contact mlabriole@nysci.org.
