Bicycle Training Wheel

August 6, 2013 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

| Workshop is free and includes NYSCI general admission

Explore the physics of how things move as we tinker with cars and trains on ramps, paint with wheels, and build our own vehicles from recycled materials. Recommended for children ages 3 – 5 with autism spectrum disorder, and their parents and siblings.

Family Science Adventures for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder include a small teacher-to-student ratio. Students practice focusing/concentration, social cognition, collaboration/teamwork, listening/comprehension skills, and more. Our trained educators are nurturing, caring, patient and interested in working with kids with differences.

Workshop is free and includes NYSCI general admission.

Preregistration is required. Workshop is limited to 10 children on the autism spectrum. To register, call 718-699-0005 ext. 341 or email.

This program is made possible through generous support from the Jesse and Joan Kupferberg Foundation.
