November 16, 2013 @ 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm

One weekend every month, Maker Space has Wildcard Weekend, where we try out exciting new workshop ideas.

Saturday November 16: Build Brush Bots, the worlds simplest robots. Brush Bots use vibrations to skitter, spin and dance around. No soldering required. Recommended for ages 6 and older. $10 per participant ($8 for NYSCI members).

Sunday, November 17: Learn about circuit design and paper engineering and make an electric pop-up card with guest maker Fawn Qiu from Project Make Anything. Recommended for ages 10 and older. $10 per participant ($8 for NYSCI members).

Register on the day of event at the NYSCI admissions area. This drop-in workshop takes place from 1:30 – 3 pm and 3:30 – 5 pm. Sessions are limited to 12 participants and will take place in Maker Space. Maker Space is made possible thanks to an investment by Cognizant through its Making the Future education initiative.
