Join us in Maker Space in November for our month long exploration of block printing and paper craft. Recommended for ages 5 and older.
November 2 & 3: Celebrate the Day of Dead by creating block prints of monsters, skeletons and other spooky creatures. Once you’ve you made your monster you can add it to our Monster Museum.
November 9 & 10: Make block-printed postcards and stationery.
November 23: Make block-printed holiday cards and envelopes. Recommended for ages 5 and older.
November 24: Paper Circuits – Make your own electronic pop-up holiday cards. Recommended for ages 7 and older.
November 30 & December 1: Make small, block-printed pillows, holiday cards and envelopes. Bring your own t-shirts and fabric to print onto those as well. Recommended for ages 5 and older.
$5 per parent/child pair, plus NYSCI admission. (Members: $3 per adult/child pair.) Register on the day of event at the NYSCI admissions area. This drop-in workshop takes place from 1:30 – 3 pm and 3:30 – 5 pm. For more information, email Reid at firstname.lastname@example.org.
