| $5 - $8

Birds have unique ways of using special materials to make their homes. Explore the science behind nest-making and transform recycled materials into a nest of your own in this drop-in workshop.

Sometimes creativity can get messy, so dress your little maker (and yourself) in old clothing that can be splattered with things like paint, ink and oobleck.

Preregistration is recommended. For more information, call 718-699-0005 ext. 341.

Little Makers is a series of programs where families with young children can tinker, design and create together. This program is supported in part by funding from the Altman Foundation and the Liu Foundation.

Little Makers: Bird Nests will take place in Maker Space. Maker Space is made possible thanks to an investment by Cognizant through its Making the Future education initiative.
