Marvel at homemade gingerbread houses that are drafted, designed, baked, planned, built and decorated by chef Jon Lovitch over the course of an entire year. GingerBread Lane is made from only “real” edible ingredients: gingerbread, royal icing and candy. Last year’s GingerBread Lane at NYSCI was recognized as the largest gingerbread village in the world by the 2014 Guinness World Records. Free with NYSCI admission.

The opening celebration for GingerBread Lane, the world’s largest gingerbread village.

Gingerbread House Workshop
November 22, December 13 & December 27, 2014
Make your own gingerbread house under the guidance of GingerBread Lane creator Jon Lovitch. Participants will receive a kit with pieces, icing and candy. Register on site on day of workshop; space is limited. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. $10 ($8 NYSCI members).

GingerBread Lane House Giveaway
January 11, 2015; 1 pm
Take a piece of GingerBread Lane home with you! Houses will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis until every piece of GingerBread Lane is gone. Limit of 1 house per person, while supplies last. Line opens at noon; giveaway starts at 1 pm. Free with NYSCI admission.
