Bug Day at New York Hall of Science

October 11, 2013 - November 18, 2013

Develop your appreciation for nature and science. Discover the dynamic environment of city habitats while investigating trees, insects, birds and other city dwellers. Explore NYSCI’s neighborhood park while observing the animal and plant life that call the park home. Conduct exciting experiments, create nature-inspired art, and design and make animal shelters. Sometimes creativity can get messy, so please dress your little scientist (and yourself) in old clothing that can be splattered with things like paint, ink, and oobleck.

$85 (NYSCI members $75); $20 for each additional sibling. Siblings under the age of 1 are welcome and free! Scholarships available.

Choose the six-week section that is appropriate for your child:

Section 1 – For young learners, ages 4–5 years old, and their grownups
Friday Afternoons: October 11, October 18, October 25, November 1, November 8 and November 15
3:30 – 5 pm

Section 2 – For young learners, ages 2–3 years old, and their grownups
Monday Mornings : October 14, October 21, October 28, November 4, November 11 and November 18
10 – 11:30 am
