It takes the nose to know, and your hands, eyes, ears and tongue, too!
Explore your five senses and learn how they work together to help you discover the world around you. Engage in fun, hands-on activities including making kaleidoscopes to observe patterns and colors, listening to the rhythm and beats of your own musical instrument, and using your taste buds to identify different flavors.
Parents: Engaging in sensory exploration and experiments at a young age will help your child develop important science skills, such as making observations and predictions, that are needed for higher level learning.
Sometimes creativity can get messy, so please dress your little scientist (and yourself) in old clothing that can be splattered with things like paint, ink and oobleck.
Recommended for young learners, ages 3–5 years, and their grownups.
