Through demos and hands-on activities, this fun-filled day will show you some of the design and science involved in flight. Bring your own kite to fly, take a turn piloting a Brooklyn Aerodrome glider, and fold up some origami flying machines with Creased – Magazine for Paper Folders.

Activities include:
Make your own kite or bring one from home to fly.
Learn to twist, tape and fold efficient paper flying machines.
Work with the origami experts from Creased Magazine for Paper Folders to make your own paper flyers.
Learn how chemical reactions can fuel your next plastic rocket launch in our ongoing demonstrations.
Sign up on site to pilot a Brooklyn Aerodrome remote-controlled glider. (Sessions are 15 minutes long and can accommodate four pilots at a time. Participants must be 10 years and older. Sign-up will be on a first-come-first-served basis.)
